Content Marketing Specialist

Responsible for creating brand-led and engaging content for a business audience, optimised for the purpose of SEO. The main goal of the role would be to drive brand awareness, thought leadership, lead capture and customer engagement.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Grow brand awareness through thought leadership driven SEO-content
  • Develop Content Marketing efforts with insights from the team
  • Research the wants and needs of the target audience to find content opportunities
  • Develop persuasive content for the website, email marketing campaigns, white papers and blog posts
  • Supporting the creation of written content and landing pages for campaigns and events
  • Creation of thought leadership guides, client references, ebooks & sales tools such as surveys & client facing branded documents etc. for the purpose of SEO and to support lead generation and sales conversion
  • Develop strong arguments that align with our value propositions
  • Strive to understand customers and create useful content that resonates
  • Adapt your written skills to different channels, mediums, and deliverables
  • Review the brand message regularly to ascertain its consistency
  • Collaborate with other supporting teams to create impressive client-centred landing pages
  • Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
  • Identify the latest digital technologies and current digital trends affecting the industry

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven content and copywriting capabilities in a Business Software environment
  • Portfolio of published content
  • Exceptional command of the English language
  • An ability to write for multiple channels
  • A strong understanding of how online content performs in search engines and how to apply analytics to write for audience needs
  • Knowledge of the subscription industry or business software applications

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Communications or a related field
  • Experience in business/financial applications such as ERP systems will be considered an asset
