Customer Support Specialist

The Customer Support Specialist will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing them with excellent service and support. In addition, The Customer Support Specialist will provide superior customer service by resolving customer inquiries and issues through various channels. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, as well as escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members. They will also contribute to the creation and maintenance of customer support documentation, learning material and knowledge-base articles.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt and professional customer support, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries by replicating issues on the internal environment
  • Assist in the creation of standardised procedures
  • Report bugs and errors to the development team
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical problems
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members and follow up as needed
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of customer support documentation, learning material and knowledge-base articles

Skills, Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Excellent level of customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in using customer support software and tools
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in business/financial applications such as ERP systems will be considered an asset
