Digital Marketing Specialist

Responsible for overseeing and driving the B2B Digital Marketing Strategy (Inbound and outbound), including Account Based Marketing in collaboration Director of Demand Generation and the Sales Team, supported by 3rd party agencies, to effectively communicate Bluefort’s value propositions across all stages of the sales funnel, from nurture to close.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will have a strong knowledge of B2B digital marketing and form part of a strong team with a vision that enables better collaboration between Marketing and Sales, whilst maximizing and helping to grow the marketing tech stack. The successful candidate must be an action-driven strong communicator, ready work on exciting and challenging projects, and more importantly to leave their mark on Bluefort’s digital marketing strategy.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the Director of Demand Generation, plan, re-launch and optimise the digital marketing operation.
  • Own and execute all performance-based marketing.
  • Execute Account Based Marketing strategies in collaboration with the Director and the Sales Team.
  • Own all web touchpoints, working hand in hand with the in-house UX/UI Designer and Content Writer, to launch digital campaigns at speed including optimised landing pages, website pages, lead magnets and other sales assets.
  • Own the content strategy in collaboration with the Director, working hand in hand with the content writer to map out and develop content for all digital formats, including white papers, blog posts and other lead magnets.
  • Own and execute email marketing campaigns, including automated sequences.
  • Work hand in hand with the technical SEO team to ensure an optimised organic reach of the primary digital touchpoints.
  • Report on the performance of digital marketing activities and compare the results against key performance indicators and ROI.
  • Ensure the organisation is kept on the cusp of digital and growth marketing trends and innovations.
  • Organise and manage all digital assets for organisation-wide use.

Skills, Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Proven track record in the performance marketing space, with 5+ years of experience.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing performance marketing including SEO/SEM, display, social media and content marketing, as well as email and marketing automation.
  • Experience in effectively and efficiently managing and optimising digital marketing budgets.
  • Experience in Account Based Marketing techniques and platforms.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of the subscription industry or business software applications.
  • Experience in business applications such as ERP systems will be considered an asset.
