The Marketing Manager will have unmatched knowledge of the global software industry and be able to assess competitors in the subscription management space. The successful candidate must be an excellent content writer, be action-driven, develop and lead GTM strategy, and manage marketing campaigns and budgets while tracking KPIs and performance.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns
- Plan and control the group’s social media channels and websites
- Grow the websites’ traffic and enable digital growth
- Develop, write and deliver persuasive copy for the website, email marketing campaigns, white papers and blog posts
- Monitor the primary marketing metrics to establish the effectiveness of online advertising
- Report on the performance of digital marketing activities and compare the results against key performance indicators and ROI
- Review the brand message regularly to ascertain its consistency
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing
- Develop and execute a workable digital marketing strategy with the sales team
- Collaborate with other supporting teams to create impressive client-centred landing pages
- Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
- Identify the latest digital technologies and current digital trends affecting the industry
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
- Manage partnerships with Microsoft and marketing firms
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in Product Marketing in a Business Software environment
- Proven content and copywriting capabilities
- Experience in managing a marketing budget
- Trade show event management
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
- Knowledge of the subscription industry or business software applications
Desired Skills and Experience
- Degree in Marketing or a related field
- Experience in graphic design will be considered an asset
- Experience in business/financial applications such as ERP systems will be considered an asset
