Product Manager

bluefort is a software firm focused on designing and engineering solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform, and bringing these offerings to partners and ultimately to end customers operating subscription and recurring revenue business models.

The Product Manager is responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a long term solution roadmap, driving input to the development team
  • Budget, plan and track product investments against the roadmap. Report analytics to the management team
  • Translate the roadmap to partner and customer-facing documents such as presentations and a statement of direction
  • Align short term roadmap with product owner maximising development efficiency
  • Determine and share development acceptance criteria used as input for testing strategy
  • Plan, prepare and launch product releases and updates to partners and customers in conjunction with the marketing team
  • Create marketing assets and deliverables for bluefort’s software solutions in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Gather product requirements from Channel Manager and presales
  • Present product capabilities in presales or partner sessions
  • Determine priority of customer and partner product feedback or bugs in conjunction with Product Owner
  • Continuously inform the consulting team about the state of the product
  • Stay in touch with leading subscription authorities and understand market trends and visions
  • Understand our position against competition and build battle cards for partners and sales
  • Determine price strategies
  • Represent bluefort at events
  • Build and maintain Microsoft relationships that are relevant for bluefort’s solution offering

Skills, Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Extensive knowledge of business solutions in CRM and ERP
  • 5+ years’ experience working in the product management area
  • Ability to react and respond quickly to any emergency or technical inefficiency
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Independent, self-motivated and able to work on multiple projects
  • Be meticulous, take initiative and possess good analytical skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines on a day-to-day basis
  • Ability to work well alone and be a team-player
  • Innovative mindset
  • Understands commercial aspects in sales and marketing
  • Understand Microsoft Dynamics 365 or indirect channel ecosystems
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in the English language
