QA Test Manager

Responsible for overseeing quality assurance test strategy and operations for the business and accountable for ensuring that our software products are suitable for release. The successful candidate will plan a testing strategy together with the Group CTO and report back on progress. He/she will develop and execute both manual and automated tests and be responsible for QA testing within the business.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Team to develop effective strategies and test plans
  • Plan and co-ordinate all the testing activities for Bluefort Products
  • Develop automated test cases
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results
  • Maintaining user stores and scenario catalogues
  • Report on testing KPIs
  • Evaluate product code according to specifications
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Be responsible for creation of standardised procedures
  • Review and analyse system specifications
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
  • Experience in project management and QA methodology
  • 4+ years Experience in .NET development
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Working knowledge of test management software and SQL
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in business/financial applications such as ERP systems will be considered an asset
