Tasks and Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Lead and inspire the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and accountability.
- Driving Urgency: Create a sense of urgency within the team to accelerate sales cycles and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives, ensuring consistent growth.
- Sales Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop sales professionals to optimize performance and growth.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities, using this knowledge to refine sales strategies and approaches.
- Customer Relationships: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and requirements.
- Reporting and Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate sales team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Skills, Qualifications & Work Experience
- Proven experience as a Sales Director or in a similar leadership role within a B2B SaaS company with a similar stage, sales cycles, price points, and stakeholder involvement.
- Demonstrated ability to drive urgency and lead a sales team by example, consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the B2B SaaS industry, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills, with a track record of developing successful sales professionals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent grasp of business fundamentals, channel development, business planning and excellence in execution.
- Highly creative with experience in generating leads.
- Proven working experience in software or business application space.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven track record of developing Joint Business Plans and Strategies for new business development.
