Sales Director

Bluefort is a global Microsoft ISV focused on subscription business models, smart tech and hyper-automation.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to join our team and lead our sales efforts for net new business for both direct channels and partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have the talent to drive urgency, motivate a sales team by example, and possess a track record of success in a B2B SaaS company at a similar stage, with comparable sales cycles, price points, and stakeholder involvement.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership: Lead and inspire the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and accountability. 
  • Driving Urgency: Create a sense of urgency within the team to accelerate sales cycles and meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals. 
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives, ensuring consistent growth. 
  • Sales Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop sales professionals to optimize performance and growth. 
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities, using this knowledge to refine sales strategies and approaches. 
  • Customer Relationships: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and requirements. 
  • Reporting and Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate sales team performance and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Skills, Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Proven experience as a Sales Director or in a similar leadership role within a B2B SaaS company with a similar stage, sales cycles, price points, and stakeholder involvement. 
  • Demonstrated ability to drive urgency and lead a sales team by example, consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets. 
  • Strong understanding of the B2B SaaS industry, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. 
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills, with a track record of developing successful sales professionals. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Excellent grasp of business fundamentals, channel development, business planning and excellence in execution. 
  • Highly creative with experience in generating leads. 
  • Proven working experience in software or business application space. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. 
  • Proven track record of developing Joint Business Plans and Strategies for new business development.
